What if you are aware what each food you have access to will do for you! One label reads:” these foods here will increase your risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, arthritis, and make you overweight. They will also cause cardiovascular diseases, make you prone to fatigue, hypertension, and high cholesterol”

The other label reads:” these foods will develop your immune system, help your body arm itself against cancer, heart disease, degenerate diseases, and obesity, and they will also build your mind, energize you, and enliven you”

Which are you going to choose?

A lot of us care more for the fuel we put in our cars than we do what we put in our body!

These questions are not imaginary but these choices are right before us every day. They are real in your pantry, freezer or wherever you keep your food, foods that lead to life or death. They are probably mixed together, food that lead to life next to food that lead to death-processed peanut butter next to extra-virgin olive oil, oatmeal next to a bag of potato chips.

As we continue on our journey to understand food that give life or living food, you need to realize that everything we put in your mouth have the potential to bring forth life or death.

Food is meant to be savored and enjoyed

Eating the right food will bring more good health and wellness, and elongate life.

A lot of research have been done on food and the human body, and all these show that some foods are healthier than we thought but may not be inviting. Other foods that we consider healthy such as margarine are harmful to our health! Did you just sigh when I stated that? Margarine is a dead food.

Living food will always be healthier than processed foods.

Knowing the difference between dead and living food

It is sometimes hard to know the difference between dead and living food. Oftentimes food that should not be labeled food are labeled food and promoted as healthy when they are not.

Living foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds and nuts exist in their natural state or close to nature or the raw state and are beautifully packaged by nature in skins and peels.

Living foods are robust, healthy and alive, they have not being refined, bleached, and/or chemically enhanced.

Living food are harvested in their natural state, plucked, the contents are squeezed not processed, packaged and put on shelves. They are easily recognizable as food and are common place.

Dead foods are the complete opposite of all these, they have been altered in every possible and imaginable way to make them last for a very long time with the addition of additives. The manufacturer adds considerable amount of sugar and artificial fats such as oils, heated to dangerously high temperatures so that the nutrients die and gets transformed into something else which is toxic to the human body.

Make a change to living foods. Don’t be caught in a toxic trap

Life begets life, likewise death brings death. When you eat living foods, the enzymes they contain help with the digestive system. The other natural ingredients in them such as vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants, fibre and a whole lot flow into your system in their natural state benefiting your body. These living food in their natural state are created to cause your digestive system, bloodstream, and organs to function at the optimum capacity.

Dead foods when eating hit your body like a foreign intruder. Chemicals such as preservatives, additives, and bleaching agents place a strain on the liver. Man-made fats gets toxic to the body and begin to form in the cells membranes, get stored as fat in the body and thereby form plague in the arteries. The body does its best to harvest tiny traces of good from these deadly and dangerous foods and in the end you are undernourished, overfed, and overweight.

To be healthy, vibrant, and energetic rather than feeble,sick, energy drained, you need to take your diet seriously.
